My Story

The Beginning

Mason embarked on his YouTube journey on December 29, 2014, initially focusing on videos about My Singing Monsters. Around two years later, he diversified his content with videos such as "The Strangest Things" (March 15, 2016), and gameplay from titles like Smashy Road and Piano Tiles, while continuing with My Singing Monsters. By 2018, he expanded into Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNaF) videos, and on July 29, 2019, he uploaded his first Minecraft video, "Minecraft: Decoration Blocks Mod Showcase."

Addon Development

Inspired by his Mod Showcase videos and influenced by his favorite addon creator, dakonblackrose, Mason ventured into creating his own addons. His initial project was The YouTuber Addon, inspired by the Java Mod YouTuber+. Although the exact start date is unclear, the first mention of this project was on March 25, 2020. Initially developing on his iPad presented challenges, but he managed to make significant progress before transitioning to a computer in May 2022. On August 15, 2022, Mason released the first beta version on MCPEDL by Overwolf. Since then, he has been consistently updating the addon, incorporating new features with each Minecraft update.

Music Creation

On June 3, 2021, Mason launched a new channel and debuted his song "One Minute." He followed this with "One Hour" on November 21, 2021. His musical journey continued to evolve, and on April 9, 2023, he began producing more songs. By August 14, 2023, he expanded his reach by releasing his music on multiple platforms including Spotify and iTunes. On September 18, 2023, his music channel was designated as an Official Artist Channel. Currently, under the moniker DiamondTunes, Mason is creating music for the animation series "Breaking Reality" by TheDiamondBlue1 and producing cover songs.

Collaboration and Support

Although Mason primarily works independently, he receives significant support from his friends and family. The Discord servers "Pixelmon Adventures: Bedrock Edition" and "Bedrock Add-On" have been particularly instrumental, with CHG Arctic Wolf and other members providing valuable assistance and encouragement.
