About The YouTuber Addon

Beta 0.5.0: The New Era Update

Have you ever wanted to meet Minecraft YouTubers? With The YouTuber Addon, now you can! Inspired by the Java Edition mod Youtubers+ Mod by supercat765, this add-on brings popular Minecraft YouTubers into the game. While it shares some similarities with the original mod, it introduces many new features unique to Bedrock Edition. This project is quite ambitious, so it will take time to fully develop. For now, I’m releasing this Beta version for you to explore and enjoy! As always, bugs are expected, so please report any issues you find.

What’s Included:

The items and characters from the original mod have been reimagined with new textures and functionality. Key features from the mod, such as Money, Armor, and YouTubers, are included here but with unique designs and mechanics.

With the Old Generation (original YouTubers) complete, we’re now adding the New Generation of YouTubers to the Addon! Don’t forget to let us know which YouTubers you’d like to see added next.

Additional features from the original mod, such as trades, will also be integrated. Items and blocks may have limitations due to the platform, but we’ll add as much as possible

Known Issues

  • The Custom Crafting UIs don't show in the Pocket UI Profile. Only really affects the Cooking Station

  • One Hit Sword is currently not one hit, how ironic

  • Redwood Saplings do not work correctly, almost fixed but still some bugs

  • The YouTubers in the Helper won't all work as intended

Undead YouTubers

Zombie YouTubers

The undead YouTubers are zombified versions of the normal YouTubers. Some of the normal YouTubers can turn into an undead version of themselves if killed by a zombie. You can also cure the Undead YouTubers by using a weakness potion & a golden apple, the same way that you can cure a Zombie Villager. Can't spawn spawned with Spawn Egg.

The Banker

The banker is the main way to convert your money into different bills. May change soon.

Dr.Trayaurus & Grim

Dr.Trayaurus is the same thing as the old Librarian Villager, just like the trades. Grim is a tamable skeleton wolf. You can change its collar colour & wolf Armour. They can be found in DanTDM's Lab

Craig The Mailman
Craig The Mailman

Craig The Mailman was the mailman from DanTDM's channel. He doesn’t do anything but stands around and breathes.

He is part of the DanTDM set.

Map Destroyer

Map Destroyer is a powerful TNT that can cause lots of damage. Place the block & multiple sets of TNT will fall from the sky.

It is part of the PopularMMOs set.​​​

Money

Money is from the original mod. Money is the main currency that you trade with the YouTubers. You can trade with and for Money. Only The YouTubers & Monsters drop money.

Souls & The Shards

The YouTuber Soul Shards are used to create the YouTuber’s Soul, which needs 9 soul shards to craft one. The YouTuber's Souls are the main item for crafting YouTuber's Special Items like YouTuber Armour.

Can only be crafted with The Soul Crafter.

  • YouTubium Sword - Does 10 Attack Damage

  • YouTubium Shovel - Does 3 Attack Damage; Works like a shovel

  • YouTubium Pickaxe - Does 5 Attack Damage; Works like a Pickaxe

  • YouTubium Axe - Does 7 Attack Damage; Works like an Axe, can stripe wood

  • YouTubium Hoe - Does 2 Attack Damage; Works like a Hoe, can till dirt

  • YouTubium Pick-Axe - Does 6 Attack Damage; Works like the Axe & Pickaxe

The YouTubium Ingot is used to make The YouTubium Tools & The YouTubium Armour. These items are stronger and last longer than Netherite. They are also enchantable. Armour can have trims applied.

Soul Infused Ingots

The Soul Infused Ingot is the YouTuber’s Soul inside of an empty ingot. This is also an important item to craft Special YouTuber Items like Armour.

Can only be crafted with The Soul Crafter.

The YouTuber Armour is the same for each YouTuber that has armour. The YouTube Armour & The YouTuber armour gives the same defence (Will change in the future)

Cotton Armour

You use Cotton(Without Seeds) to make the Cotton Armour set. This armour is not that strong but is easy to craft. Armour can have trims applied.

The cotton is from a test addon that I have been working on and I decided to add it to The YouTuber Addon. There is Cotton(With Seeds) which you can use to plant cotton. Put it in the cotton loom and turn it into Cotton(Without Seeds) which can be used for crafting. There is also Cotton Seeds which you can get from trading with the Wandering Villager and/or spawning with the Bonus Chest to start making cotton.

Diamond's Food

I am also adding custom made food items to add so there are more things to make. There will be more added in the future. We have added:

  • Banana - Fills 3.0 Hunger Bars

  • Toast - Fills 2.5 Hunger Bars

  • Cocoa Powder - Fills 0.5 Hunger Bars

  • Bottle of Milk - Fills 2.5 Hunger Bars. Milk a cow with a bottle

  • Chocolate Milk - Fills 2.5 Hunger Bars. Give Speed & Regen

  • Glass Black Tea - Fills 3.0 Hunger Bars

  • Empty Glass - Makes some drinks

  • Knife - For cutting food into smaller pieces

  • Cooking Station(Cutting Board) - The station to cut your food

These are the Original Items for the Original Mod. These currently has no use at the moment. It Includes:

Accessories

Accessories are like the YouTuber Armour, but they aren't as strong. Some will give you special effects. Trade with the corresponding YouTubers to obtain

YouTubium Ore in Normal & Deepslate Variant

The YouTubium Ore will spawn naturally underground with a normal variant & a deepslate variant. They should spawn with the corresponding stone type. Mine it to get Raw YouTubium & smelt it to get YouTubium Ingot

Multicolour Ore

​The Multicolour Ore will spawn underground with, just at this moment, a normal variant. Smelt it to get the Multicolour Ingot. The ore also changes its colours with all of the rainbow colours, with a few extra, in order.

Gem Ore spawns naturally underground with only a normal variant. Mine to get gems then craft some special gems.

The Soul Crafter

The Soul Crafter is important. It provides the only way for you to craft Souls and Soul Infused Ingots. The Soul Crafter also has a Custom Crafting UI*.

 

 

*Please note that the Custom UI is not visible through Pocket UI Profile & only visible through Classic UI Profile. This doesn't affect the ability to use it.

Redwood is a new kind of wood that I have added. Has its own kind planks, slabs, fences, gates, stairs*, doors, & trapdoors.

Most crafting that requires planks can be crafted with the Redwood Planks.

*The Stairs has been temporarily removed.

Cotton Blocks

On the very left is the Cotton Loom, which you can craft by crafting a regular loom but with two more strings. The Cotton Loom is used for crafting items with cotton & cleaning cotton(with seeds). The middle is a Cotton Bale. It is useless unless you want to store 9 Cotton in one block. The 4 on the right is the three stages of the Cotton Bush, which is how you get Cotton.

Banana Tree

We have all of the blocks for the banana tree, and they work, we haven't made any trees for the sapling to grow yet. We are doing research to make sure that the banana will grow as close as possible to real life.

Now our addon is completely stable! Meaning that it is no longer need any of the experimental!

Due to this being a beta version, some features &/or items may not work correctly. Any issues & bugs found will be resolved by the next beta release. More YouTubers & other items will be added in the future.
